McLeod County, MN | I should add that since Pro Farmer tour the area mostly north of Mankato all the way to about Brainerd has seen almost no rain. It hadnt seen much before either. There are few exceptions to that.
And this is just my fields, but I would say since Pro Famer Tour the heat and lack of moisture easily took 25+ bushels off per acre on all of my acres, and it might end up being more. There are pockets still hanging in there, but they way it went backwards on some of the little hills and clay knobs is amazing. The cobs in those areas are completely blacklayered, but there is nothing there. Just some shriveled remnants. Some 190+ APH ground with high OM. | |
