Nebraska aka the boondocks | Unfortunately, a lot of the argument against big oil and the military industrial complex falls on deaf ears not because many people love the aforementioned, but because they share a common goal... And that is perpetual mischief in the middle east. A good chunk( I don't have an exact figure) of the country thinks that is good, because they are helping the Lord out in the end times. some may think that comment is nuts and I think it is the way a lot of folks think. So arguing ethanol as a plus to bring the troops home doesn't go anywhere with many folks.
edit, I would add there are a lot of "interests" that like the idea of engagement in the middle east, don't want to single anyone out,lol... So it is like banging your head against a concrete wall.
