Liverpool, Pennsylvania | Here are some pictures taken on 7/11/13. Refer to my post on 6/13/13 "Pictures & link for Perry County Cover Crop Roller/Planter" The more recent pictures were taken in the same fields. The captions describe each picture. Some highlights: Pics 1&2, after 175-200bpa corn and heavy cereal rye cover crop the residue mat left after plating is breaking down rapidly. Pics 3&4, corn after barley & crimson clover cover crop, part of this field was not sidedressed to see how much N the clover can release to the corn. Pics 5,6&7, first year for beans (non-GMO) planted after corn and cereal rye cover crop.
