Sandy Hook, MB

Hello Agfarms

High moisture chop. I think that we rate our corn varieties differently here. I've never heard anyone mention how many days corn. We go by CHU (corn heat units) rating. This one is 2350 CHU. I'm in an area of 2300 CHU 7 years out of 10. Last year we had 105.5 to 107% of normal CHU which put me in that 2451 to 2500 CHU range. If this keeps up I might try some longer season variety. But with my luck, we'll have a cool summer & I'll be chopping a frosted corn plant with no grain in it.
