I'm probably not coordinated enough to use the thumb dial. Once I have the torch in one hand, and the filler in the other, I pretty much have to concentrate on keeping steady.:-) Once the tungsten hits the puddle, I cant tell if there's more fumes coming from inside the helmet or from the torch.:-(
