Plant those 'food plot' beans with something like milo SS etc. The Eagle varieties will regrow from deer nippage to just above cotyledons. The cow will damage plants much more severly than deer IME...may not get much regrowth. So you will want to 'strip graze' beans and use as exisiting 'supplement' to grass pasture....try 'back fencing' prior grazed strips and limit actual grazing time if you want regrowth. Kinda like grass.....to get good regrowth take half of leaf and leaf half of the leaves.

This is one of the Eagle forage beans drilled into standing tall rye last spring....pic was July during the drought. I've planted Eagle varieties for about 4 yrs now. Without an electric 'deer fence', beans won't get this tall.
