17821x - 5/24/2013 17:24 Bales from rotary are easier to spread but you'll get a lot more bales behind the walker. With the rotary it cuts it up so much that baler pick-up or rake misses some of it and if it lays to cure for a few days the rotary straw shrinks more.

You might get more bales but you will get more tonnage/bale behind a rotary

If the rotary is set up right, it wont grind it to dust

Depending on the use, Rotary straw is already chopped, easier to bed with
