I believe many/most(?) of the small digitals now have USB ports for downloading to your computer. Make sure you can hitch a camera direct to computer & then you won't need to worry about how to "read" whatever card it has. Go ahead & put that ad in. I'm betting you'll have a camera before the end of July.
Again-I'm betting you can buy a good used digital for pennies on the dollar.
