| has one of those v-6 engines in it that uses no oil. tHINK THEY CALL IT A 3.9 BUT not SURE) Very recently it developed a peculiar significant problem. When driving it these warmer days you drive it about 12 miles and all of a sudden you think it is missing on all cylinders and you are VERY concerned you wont get to where you are going 2 more miles down the road. It rattles and bangs and sounds like a real junk truck. Till then it is the sweetest running thing you ever rode in. He took it straight to a shop of very good reputation. they worked on it said all was fine. next trip here he had same thing happen. (We live about 14 miles apart.) Straight back to shop again. They analysis it ,,do everything they know how to do to it. No help. They took it out and drove it, same thing, so far it runs pretty, then whamo, it is 'barely' running at all. They called him today and said they give up, they cant fix it, have no where to look anymore, and nothing left to check. With all the gear heads out here on this board, you cant let it go without a try,,,can YOU???? | |
