You should find 3.1 Megapixel Cameras in the 20$ range. Don't go below as you will be deceived by the resolution soon. More pixels is better but you have to pay the price. Below, it's more or less the resolution of a cell phone, and details are not visible, but that would be ok for quick snapshots.
