They make adapters for fire hose. Some of the fire safety vendors will most likely have them. If you want to have a fire hose that will work for you and last any length of time you need to lay it out on a surface that will allow it to drain and dry before reeling it up. You may have a place that you can hook it in the middle and hoist it up with a block and tackle to drain.
