Some people even think that a house that nobody lives in is abandoned. When we were first married a friend of my wife from Michigan came to visit and was telling how her sister, brother in law, and her would travel back roads and stop at old houses and take out colored glass windows. I told her that that was stealing. She replied that they were abandoned and nobody owned them. She honestly believed that until I set her straight.
