My daughter goes to a state university....that $45,000 will barely cover the tuition over four years. Her monthly housing has been running $400+ per month, plus utilities and thats with 4 girls sharing 1 apartment. First year she was required to live on campus. Add books and food & fees to that. Everyone I talked to in the same situation has been saying $20,000+/yr.
