![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=251&type=profile&rnd=31) Callao Missouri | My advice is fill out the Fafsa form even though it is a gigantic waste of time and effort for white farm folks like myself. I just paid my way through MU I worked three afternoons a week and came home to turn wrenches on the weekend, as well as farm. Somehow I made it through. If they have talent don't settle for a minimum wage college town job. You can drive 15 or 20 miles and double the wage most of the time. Had friends that worked nights at UPS distribution center, good pay. Heavy truck dealerships and repair places like farm kids as well because grease and oil don't hurt them. A good work ethic at a place like that will gain the respect of the rest of the crew and they will help teach the basics. Take the advice above about the fail vs withdraw. I had to learn that one the hard way in English 1000 gave me lots of trouble from there till the end. Jon | |
