| I have never had a side car on a motorcycle. back in the 70s we had a guy in our area that was probably in his middle thirties that had rode a motorcycle quite a bit. he lived on a blacktop road, but took this motorcycle with just mounted side car up a gravel road to the farm he worked at to show his boss. he made it about a half mile up the gravel before this motorcycle with its freshly mounted side car threw him head first into a large corner post with no helmet. he died on the spot. I have had no interest in a side car since this accident happened, i think of this accident whenever i go down this road and see this field entrance with this large hedge post. i would be very careful hauling my kids. | |
