Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | Haven't you heard, the best way to get rid of a big appliance, is to load up, in the back of a pickup, wait until 3:00 AM, go into a apartment complex, drive past their dumpster about a 100 ft with tailgate lowered, put truck into reverse and backup quickly, then SLAM on the BRAKES.
Put in Drive and leave.
One guy told me this about 15 years ago.( I hope he was joking, but it sure was funny, sitting around drinking beer, one night.)
