WC Illinois | Interesting, looks like it is working pretty well. Just brainstorming here: Here in IL where it is supposed to be a little wetter, do you think it would work to build a bunker, cover it with a hoop or pole type roof and fill it throughout the year with dry ground hay and then do what you are doing? Would be a cattle and hay storage barn all in one. Also, everyone has these expensive hay grinders...would it work to get an older silage chopper and chop the hay (mainly waterway fescue and grasses) dry from the field? Too dusty? Why doesn't anyone do that?
