Rolla, ND | Well, it's a nice theory. There are some problems though. Low priced images have about a 100 ft resolution.
Then you have to realize something, at the time for sidedressing, the satellite sees mostly soil. Just tiny plants and they don't look like much from up above. So you aren't seeing much in the way of green. If you can wait until corn is say knee high, that's a lot different.
There are higher resolution images, you can even order them custom. Just it costs more. | |
