central - east central Minnesota - | fordthinkin - 3/27/2013 07:18 Have a field that was in alfalfa/grass for past 4 years and last spring it was hit hard with frost and later bugs . Really looked thin last fall so I sprayed it off and plowed it down in Oct. I really need more hay so wondering will it be ok to go back and reseed alfalfa again this spring in the same ground?

Consider renting it out to a corn farmer, for BIG, big bucks, for the yr. Have it written in the lease, to till it back (to your spec's, depth, type of tillage ect) and use the rent money to buy your hay.
