Have been in the same situation myself. If you don't have a long term lease we just put down a 56-90-90-24 sulfur and 140 pounds of N and still get a very good crop of corn. On beans we run a 14-35-70 and get along just fine. We also use a pop up starter on both it will really help. GOOD LUCK
