Subject: Help Me "Pimp" Out My Corn Planter

Central Ontario

I imagine like many others on here I own a 10 year old ground drive Corn Planter with your typical Dickey John monitor. I know this planter can plant 200 bushel corn and will for another 10 years with routine maintenance.

So with all the new technology available today I'm trying to seperate the "toys" from the "money makers" of planter accessories.

So help me prioritize what addional money spend will help make this the most practical agronomic sound planter with quickest ROI for money spend.

Obviously have all the Precision Planting options, 20/20 being one of the consideration. Then there is multitude of row clutching options, down force, etc etc etc .  Once you go to the farm shows or dealers with your wish list becomes apparent a person could spend as much or more than what the physical planter value is.

Present planter happens to be a 12 row Kinze but this question could apply to many makes and to many fairly new used planters that weren't pimped out from the factory.

So help me spend my money wisely
