First year taking over fields 1-4, our family has rented them out over the years and they were not too well taken care of, fields will be limed shortly. Tenant that holds lease for another couple weeks still has standing soybeans on it to kind of show you how much he cares about things. He usually wouldn't show up to plant finally till mid to late june so obviously wasn't getting top yields, along with leaving fence rows grow out so will have lots of trimming to get done once beans are off as well. Field #5 is one of our pastures that used to pasture cattle and the past couple years have just cut the hay off of it instead. Have a couple other fields that will be planted in Alfalfa as well, fairly similar soil test results. Average yield around here is about 160 bu/acre for corn and around 60 bu/acre for soybeans along with 5 ton/acre hay.
