Yes but that isn't the same as novel enophyte. It is endo free thus not as strong a plant. However we bought a crp farm in 2002 had been in fescue for two crp terms and we were thinking of leaving it in grass. So I tested it and it came back if I remember 80% clean 20 endo. This had been planted with year old seed thus endo free. I feel the reason it stayed 80% was the fact there was never any stress on the plants thus the endo type didn't get a foot hold.
