Northern Kentucky | I wanted to start preg checking my cattle I just like not having to rely on a vet for something. Anyway I called a buddy of mine to see if he could help me since he works on a large farm that is a cow calf opperation and they AI a lot of their herd. He said they didn't do it and only a vet should which I found puzzling because I know when I worked on a dairy in my younger days my boss did it all the time. This got me wondering how many people do it themselves?
I wanted someone to kind of guide me through it on a few cows so I know what I am feeling. I watched some good YouTube videos and have read a few articles about it doesn't seem to complicated. | |
