I'll vote.
Of course its dangerous. On a scale of 1 to 10 , 10 being the most dangerous I would give it a 2. About the same as climbing out of a tractor cab or semi with wet boots or climbing on a tire to fill one of those old top of hood fuel caps.
With the snow on the ground I'm guessing his rug burn would be the damage you would be expecting.
