Washington Co Ks | Once when our son and daughter who are a little less than a year apart were playing outside our son got a cut on his head. Neither one would say what happened. We decided that he maybe needed stitches so we took him to the ER. Of course we couldn't tell them what happened as we didn't know and the kids still wouldn't say. I don't know how many times the nurses asked what happened but after a while I realized that they thought we were hiding something. A few days later a couple of salesmen were here and one went out to get something from his car. Our doughter was playing nearby and he jokingly asked her "So what did you hit your brother with?" She picked up a short piece of pipe and said "with this". We told the Dr when he took out the stitches and he just laughed. The kids would never tell us just what all had happened and I always wondered just how close we came to being investagated. | |
