Don't understand how you don't like crowds in Colorado, but find the Tickey-Tackey Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg 'interesting'. Or maybe the 'interesting' is tongue-in-cheek?


Those two areas are totally different as far as their purpose to me. Loved the shows and attractions and shops in Pigeon Forge because that was why we went there. But if I am wanting to go to the mountains and enjoy nature, natural wonders, I don't want to enjoy it with 2 million other people crammed up against me. Therefore when we want to go to the cool mountains in the summer, we like the NM mountains better.
