Michigan. | The Colt 9mm sporters have never been common really, but there are enough of them out there, that thier value isn't going to skyrocket or anything.
Take it out and play with the thing a bit, and enjoy it. You can't hurt it, or it's value by shooting the thing if it has already been shot. Just clean it up when done.
Oddly enough, if you list it on gun broker, you likely can get a good return on your investment already. The dearth of AR lowers, Colt included, is still driving prices to the moon.
I'd play a little, then turn it loose myself. I already have a couple pistol cal. Carbines though, and don't really care for them except for plinking.
