I have had several cows go down over the years and the first thing to do is to get them off the cement and on to some sand or dirt with enough room for them to flop around a little and not get hung up in a fence etc. I've built a lift out of old conveyor belting and clamped iron on the ends to hook to loader. Make belt long enough to wrap around cows belly all the way up to her hips roughly 6-8 ft long. get her situated over that and pick her up slow then set her down so if she decides to stand the belt would become slack by about an inch. Leave her there for a while. You must do this several times a day. Maybe a dose of selenium would help.
