North of London | I expect the moral dilemma of sacrificing some for the betterment of all happened many times and in many different theatres and wars.
When troops were left in posts that were sure to be over run but had to stay behind to maintain control as long as possible.
When troops were sent on patrols or raids where success was just to keep the opposing forces busy and tied down knowing the troops on those missions would be routed at high costs.
But yes there were things allowed to happen just so the Germans did not find out that the allies knew as much as they did.
I should have mentioned I did enjoy watching those videos. Thanks.
