Dalton, OH | When we were building the shop I was against it, but my mechanic convinced me to put it in. One of the best investments we've made. You don't have to put the crane in initially as long as you put the base. That's what we were going to do as it doesn't cost that much to do just that, but then my mechanic got on the Internet and found a good price on the whole thing so went that way. Make sure you do lots of planning before you decide on the final placement of the crane. We spent some time drawing it out on paper and then laid it out on the ground on the site to see how it would work. Here's a good pic of how the crane fits in our shop.
