Your vet might need to go back to school......it's going to be pretty tough for those cows to calve mid February with the bull being put in July 5th.

I probably wouldn't jump the gun thinking you need a tighter calving season.....I would decide that after they all calve. The vet could be way off.

Things look good around there. Just make sure those cows are in great condition come breeding time to help try and reach your goal.


He said most of them were already bred when he bought them, the bull only bred the open ones he bought from a neighbor.
