| I would say your bull was to old. You get those older bulls, especially when you are just running one they will just lay around and not breed. But if you put a younger bull in with him and they will go to work. It's a competition thing. I personally don't run bulls over 5 years of age for that reason. Also it pays to do a pre breeding semen test as well as a yearly trich test. It is a state law here in Utah and Idaho for a yearly Trich test before breeding season. Also did Vet say the open cows were ok? Or did he feel there was problems with them?
