Central Nebraska | My Grandpa. He'll be 75 next spring and is still farming 500-600 acres and feeding 60 head of cattle. Very rarely is he crabby or snappy. I think he's really excited to see me and another of his grandsons farming within a mile of him, too. I used to get frustrated with him wondering why he was doing things the way he was or why he wouldn't slow down some, but he's having a blast and farming is really his only hobby. Realized I need to shut up and let him do his thing while he still can and I can still work with him. He's a pretty optimistic dude. | |
