West Central Iowa | I put up some fence just like you are talking about in a lot situation. I've been very happy but I don't fatten out cattle in there. Put pairs in the lots in the spring and keep replacement bulls & heifers there other times of the year. Used 8" diameter by 8 foot posts that we got from a local fence builder that were creosote. If you don't have a local custom fence builder who sells fencing supplies off their lot, Bomgaars, Orchelens, etc. typically carry them in our area. They are the same quality that the custom fence builder carries from my experience. | |
