| I'm about 725 NNW of you. Not much HRW is grown in ND, and acres are way down this year because of the very dry conditions in September (most guys would rather seed HRS, less volume at harvest). We dusted in our HRW and were blessed with 3" of moisture in October and November. The Sept seeded wheat has about 1.5 leaves and the wheat seeded Oct 10-15 was just emergeing as the ground froze. The wheat is small and suseptable to winterkill, but at least it has some moisture, however our subsoil is still very dry. | |
