My system is not portable. Personally, I wouldn't buy Tuff's portable unit because IMHO it has one big flaw: Look at how the alley comes off the tub. There's a funny corner they have to make when they leave the tub, and that is not a natural flow at all. We had our unit set up like that at first, but we learned quickly that it did not work well, so we gave the tub a quarter turn. Now the cattle come in, make a 180 and are pointed straight down the alley. It works much, much better. However, from what I remember of the portable unit, you can't change that configuration. |
