West Central MN
I have about 17,000 miles on a 6.2 in a F-350. Sorry I cant compare to the v10 because I came from a GMC 6.0 The Ford has much more power than the GMC had.

I have run almost all E-85 through it and I will average about 12 just driving around. If you pull a trailer at all the mileage drops pretty good. Not uncommon to average around 9 with a trailer.

My brother has the new Ford diesel and I would say the power is very similar between the two. He of course gets better mileage but I would say the cost average is about the same for just everyday driving around. When pulling a trailer, the diesel wins hands down as there isn't as much mileage penalty with the diesel.
