w/c Illinois | We're fortunate to have a recycling center as well as a scrap buyer not far from us. We can burn the remaining "garbage" once in a while. The time needed to separate the recyclables isn't that great once you have a system, and it keeps it out of the landfill. Selling scrap metal pays for itself. About the only thing we're stuck with is brown beer bottles that we pick up in our field ditches and light bulbs that blow out at an alarming pace around here. We hold them until a big hole is available. | |
