I guess i'm the opposite. Feed the soil and it will feed the crop. Now i don't use that method with Nitrogen because 9 times out of 10 the soil can't hang on to it but P and K don't go anywhere. Also have to remember that if you spoon feed P and K, corn plant uses a lot more then it removes and leaves it in the residue, how does one account for that?
What am I missing ? about soil
