When you take emerged % you must also replicate that. What I do is use the same rows for each variety cause there could be differences in planter units. Usually do 2 rows and average. How do we know in this plot he used the same rows for counting?? If everyhting is within 4% pop emerged I doubt there would be much yield difference. If you want to blame seed quality then each variety should have had an accelerated germ test to go along with the yield results. This yr the lowest pop emerged was the 2nd highest yield in my plot. Some varieties can flex.
Its the final yield hauled to the elevator that counts.
