Martinsville, Ohio
Good point, Coup. That makes more sense than those scratching their heads. I guess it was just a silly moment to make people think.

8 bushels meant big bucks spread across acres this year depending on insurance levels and a whole lof of things. 50 bucks probably paid for my chemical program or most of my nitrogen and a lot more profit.

No one mentioned seed treatments between the two brands. I never looked but assume they were similar. Once in awhile I see 8 bushels on just the chemical treatment but not usually. A company putting SabrEx alone on that plot seed could make 8 bu. difference.

I guess I am more amazed that hybrid has been at the top of plots of farmer's yields and plots over a wide region for 5 years running now. That low yielding performance at 188 bu makes 52 bushel difference a whole lot to be desired.

I thought it was an interesting plot that correlates a lot to what I see but the quick brain teaser statement did affect my credibility.:(
