Heres an idea from NZ. Skin the dead lamb without cutting along the belly. Makes a tube. Put on live lamb. Pen for 24 hours max, ewe needs to be able to tend lamb. Works for me pretty much every time. You have to make sure the lamb gets a good feed at the start. Skin off after a day, they rot real quick. If it doesnt take lamb will be dead, and ewe gets a tag that says 'one way ticket'.
