Near-north Ontario, French River | Bowtieugth I'll agree with most of what you posted except for the first comment about poverty "being in most cases that is by choice". Granted there is a percentag of people who are poor as a result of poor decisions, or by their own doing but there is also , I believe anyway,a larger percentage who are poor because of nothing more than fate. Whether that fate is a result of illness or bad lack ( job loss , natural disasters etc) there are many out there that poor because of things beyond their control. Before anyone jumps be I'm not suggesting that the 'rich' should provide the 'poor' with a free ride, I'm only suggesting that it's wrong to paint most of the poor with such a broad brush. |
