I would not quit your day job for at least another year then go to any and all public rental auctions ( won't be many ) and also expect to pay much more than you think is possible.
look at your customer base from the coop and see if any are getting ready to retire or would have ground for you to farm --- They already know you and how hard your willing to work.
lastly get ready to have people upset with you there is no way around it. you will have to out bid your neighbors and at this point nobody will give up land without a fight. | |
