| Its a business and ground changes hands. Only way to insure that not happening is to buy your own ground. You have guys who feel that rented ground belongs to them and I've certainly had my feelings hurt a time or two. I have some share crop ground that I feel is pretty safe, but cash rent mostly goes to the guy willing to pay the most money. Things like mowing ditches and emailing land owners pictures can go a long ways towards making them feel part of the process, but that does not get ya cheap rent. | |
