Saronville NE | Our house was built in 1900 and the last addition was put on in 1950. It needs insulation in the walls bad, but 3 yrs ago we blew 18" in the attic, it made a big difference, but still kinda drafty when hard north wind. Im like IowaMark, I know it would make more sense for us to build new or something, but money is the limiting factor, dont have the coin around or want to make the monthly payments on a $170-$200k house, and from what weve priced you wont get a very big house and not fixed "nice" at the $150k level, will take $200k to make it nice, not just plain jane. | |
