Wrap all corners and windows with 2/4's, then apply Dow Thermax 1.5" foil faced insulation to the exterior. Then reside it with the siding of your choice. We did this this spring, the Thermax in that thickness has a R10 insulation value along with the new windows and doors makes a huge difference!
