Subject: Re: Grieving a loved one

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
Does everyone have a "moment"? With someone close to them I would say yes. I was pretty yound (early 20's) when my Mom dies of cancer so I kind of stayed in denial for quite awhile and maybe I don't really recall a "moment". When my Dad died it was definately right after the funeral before the dinner. It really hit me! The finality just caved in on me.
Then I would say it was maybe a couple of months later that I really realized Dad wasn'tver coming back and I guess that was acceptance. So, I would say it is very normal with all that is going on that you may not feel just what you think you should right now but likely you will at some point in time.
Sorry for your loss.
