I would almost be willing to wager that not even the signature was put there by the actual hand of a human being. I have had reason to write form letters for various purposes over the years. With today's desktop technology I can enter your information into a database and, with the right construction of the form letter, the computer will insert the appropriate information into the appropriate blanks. I signed my name one time onto a blank sheet of paper, scanned it into the computer as an image, and placed it on the form letter. Every letter came out perfectly customized for the individual to whom it was addressed, along with my signature in my handwriting in a different color ink. There is no guarantee that, regardless of the legibility or lack thereof, the signature was not computer generated. This is probably "much ado about nothing." |
